NOTES & FACTS FROM THE POLICE BLOTTER
-
In the early morning hours of October 4th, Eden police received
a report of an intrusion alarm at Eden Shur Fine.
Upon arrival, patrol met with the store manager who stated he
confronted two men who just burglarized the establishment.
The scene was processed and evidence was taken in for processing.
The investigation continues.
- On October 23rd, Eden Police responded to a call of
underage drinking on Kulp Road. Upon arrival, patrol observed several
youths running from the residence. The residence was searched and
cleared of any alcohol and 11 offenders were given summons for underage
drinking, 1 offender was charged with Unlawful dealing with a child.
- On October 31st, Eden Police responded to a call of a woman
passed out in her vehicle. Patrol located the vehicle parked on the
sidewalk, inside Franchesca King of Angola was passed out behind
the wheel and a 2 year old child unrestrained in the back seat.
The offender was arrested for DWI and Endangering the welfare of a child.
