NOTES & FACTS FROM THE POLICE BLOTTER

Several home burglaries in the Hemlock Road area lead to the arrest of two. Police obtained a description of the intruders and a plate number of their vehicle which led to the arrest of Michelle Curvin of Hemlock Road and an Amanda Harding of Buffalo. Taken in the thefts were mostly jewelry, electrical equipment, and cash. Police did recover most of the items.

Halloween night lead to several complaints of Criminal Mischief but the most serious occurred on Hillbrook Dr. when an irate resident, became upset and threw a knife at a passing car. The knife embedded in the rear window of the vehicle. The occupants who had thrown eggs at the residents friends were unaware that it was a knife thrown at them until they went to clean the debris from the car. Restitution was made, no charges filed.
