NOTES & FACTS FROM THE POLICE BLOTTER

  • David Sully was selected at Officer for the Month. Dave is one of the newer members of the Reserve Police Unit having retired from Hamburg School system as a teacher. He donated more than 20 hours a week to the department in October.

  • Police investigated a break in at the Eden High School where prescription drugs were stolen from the nurses office.

  • Sent an Eden man to the holding center on $2,500 bail after he was arrested for Sexual Abuse and Unlawful Imprisonment.

  • Arrested a Hamburg youth for possessing an alcoholic beverage on school property and resisting arrest after trying to fight with the arresting officers. Also charged was a 19 year old Eden youth who sold an alcoholic beverage to another teenager. He was charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a child.

  • Arrested an Irving man for felony Driving While Intoxicated after being involved in a PDO accident.

  • Assisted a Tice Road resident, who was bitten, and assisted in transporting the injured animal to a vet. Apparently the dog had been shot by an arrow. The dog survived and returned home after several days of treatment.
