NOTES & FACTS FROM THE POLICE BLOTTER
- Town of Eden Police are investigating a scheme to defraud.
On 11/15/2003, police received a report that William Huber,
DBA Snow Country Builders accepted a deposit back in September
to begin work on a steel roof. Mr. Huber did not return and
refused to return deposit. Upon further investigation, there
were many more victims in Eden and surrounding areas. Eden
Police Department has been working in conjunction with Cattaraugus
Sheriffs Department and New York State Police. Anyone with information
or other victims please contact the station (716)992-9211.

On Nov 20th, Eden Police received a report of a property damage accident
at the intersection of Green St & Deport. There was only one vehicle
involved and Raymond Connor, 42 of Eden was arrested for felony DWI.

On the morning of Nov 28th, Town police received a report of a
roll over accident on Route 62 near the North Collins town line.
The driver, Robert Acker, 22 of West Seneca had minor injuries and
was taken to Lakeshore Hospital where he refused treatment. Mr. Acker
was arrested for felony DWI and refusal to take breath tesr.
