NOTES & FACTS FROM THE POLICE BLOTTER
- On 5/17/2003, patrol observed a vehicle weaving onto the shoulder of the roadway then over the center line of route 62. After the subject failed field sobriety tests, patrol placed him under arrest. David Isaacs, 34, of Buffalo was charged with DWI and unlicensed operation among other V & T charges. While in custody, patrol learned the subject also had a warrant from Canada. Subject was arraigned before Town Justice and held at Erie County Holding Center.
- Eden Police responded to a house fire on 5/25/2003, Patrol found a kitchen fire on Merrill Place. The fire was put out by Eden Fire Department. Minor damages to the kitchen cabinets were reported.
