NOTES & FACTS FROM THE POLICE BLOTTER

On March 3rd, Eden Police were flagged down by a bystander who stated he followed a vehicle and the driver appeared intoxicated. Patrol located the vehicle, spoke to the driver who did show signs of intoxication. While speaking with the offender, patrol noticed he had items hidden under his arm. The items were from Eden Shur Fine and the offender admitted he took them without paying. Paul Grabenstatter, 43 was arrested for petit larceny and felony DWI.
- On March 17th, Eden Police received a report of a residential fire at 7369 Gowanda State Road. Eden police confirmed the fire and the appropriate units were dispatched. The fire was contained to the second floor of the residence. The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire.
