NOTES & FACTS FROM THE POLICE BLOTTER

On July 14th at the East Eden Tractor Pull, Officer Shawn Bishop was approached by a 15 year old female who stated she was being harassed by an individual. Officer Bishop advised him to refrain from his conduct. The subject became violent and slapped the officer. After subduing the subject, Michael Jordan, 20, was arrested for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and harassment.
- On July 26th, Eden Police hosted a stop DWI roadblock. The roadblock consisted of officers from Eden, Erie County, Hamburg, Evans, and other local agencies. All vehicles were stopped and trained officers questioned the drivers. Resulting, there were 5 DWI arrests, 1 arrest for unlawful possession of marijuana, and numerous summons for other traffic violations.
