NOTES & FACTS FROM THE POLICE BLOTTER

On January 11th, Eden Police responded to a snowmobile accident on a marked trail off Yochum Rd. William Stone of Hamburg, left the trail and jumped from his sled before it went through a fence. Hours later on the same trail, Dale Williams of Eden went through the same fence. Mr Williams struck a smooth wire causing a laceration around his neck. Mr Williams was taken to ECMC via Mercy Flight.

January 15th, Eden Police responded to a snowmobile accident on East Eden Rd. John Colligan, 38 of Buffalo left the snowmobile trail and struck a tree. Mr Colligan was taken to ECMC via Mercy Flight

On January 26th, Town Police observed a vehicle in a snow bank. Upon investigating, the driver was found intoxicated and unconscious. Janell Sauer of Eden was arrested for felony DWI. Ms. Sauer than became disorderly, and was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment after kicking the arresting officer and furniture at the police station.
