NOTES & FACTS FROM THE POLICE BLOTTER
-
On December 6th, Eden Police responded to a report of a fire on
Hemlock Road. Upon arrival patrol observed the flames,
Eden Fire Department extinguished the fire.
The damage was contained to the rear half of the structure.
- While serving a warrant of arrest for Silver Creek Police
Department on December 18th, Timothy Winford gave patrol
a false name, after confirming his identity, Timothy resisted arrest,
patrol was able to subdue him and now faces charges in
The town of Eden. Mr Winford is being held in lieu of $2,500 bail.
- In the early hours of December 27th, Eden Police responded to
a report of a snowmobile crash. The driver of the snowmobile
left the trail striking a tree. Douglas Stead, 58, was taken
to ECMC and subsequently charged with Snowmobile while
intoxicated with a return court date of 1/11/2005.
