We would again like to remind residents that the "No Parking Ban is now in effect". Your compliance with this law allows the Highway Departments to properly clean the highway which makes motorist and pedistrian travel safer.
People are also urged to refrain from blowing or plowing snow onto the roadway. Under vehicle and traffic law, section 1219, snow is included in a list of injurious substances that are prohibited from being put in the highway. It is stated that any placed there is injurious substances it shall be removed immediately.

Police filed a burglary report for an E.Eden Rd. resident that reported a tool shed was entered and a Dewalt Cordless drill and reciprocating saw, and a B&D cordless drill were taken.

A report of a vehicle in a ditch lead to the arrest of an Eckhardt Road resident for DWI. Joel Squelch reported to police that he was just returning home from his 21st birthday party, and that he was driving very cautiously when a deer jumped out in front of him. Squelch struck several of his neighbors' mailboxes, a fire hydrant, and a tree. When question about drinking at his party, he denied having any, stating he was the designated driver.
