While inspecting the game at the annual Eden Corn Festival, Eden Police found several chutes for a quarter game to be unfair and dollar bills that had been weighed down making winning impossible. Operator of the game was advised, and game was taken out of service.

Security at the Eden Corn Festival brought Raymond Walinski 31, to the Eden Police sub-station located on the festival grounds. Mr Walinski was intoxicated and causing a disturbance in the beer barn. Patrol found subject in possession of marijuana and was issued an appearance ticket for that charge.
- Eden Police responded to an ATV accident that occurred on August 18th on Legion Dr. 49 year old, Jon Szal of Eden was transported to ECMC after he lost control of the ATV on loose gravel and flipped over.

On Aug 24th, Eden Police were summoned to an accident on Haag Rd. 31 year old, Raymond Walinski left the roadway striking an embankment and steel pole. Witnesses advised, Mr Walinski fled the scene on foot. The subject was located late that evening hiding in a ditch. The subject became unruly and was arrested for multi charges including DWI, leaving the scene of an accident, and suspended registration.
