    R.A.D.-Rape Aggression Defense System

    OBJECTIVE: To develop and enhance the options of self defense so they may become viable considerations to the women who is attacked.

    The Eden Police Department offers Rape Aggression Defense classes to teach women the elements of protecting themselves . The R.A.D system is a nationally recognized alliance of self- defense educators who are dedicated to enhancing defensive options for women , while developing their ability to manage aggressive and violent behavior.

    The program offers a unique approach to women's safety. Subjects include personal safety, risk awareness, and risk reduction . THROUGH EDUCATING WOMEN ABOUT CHOICES AND TO NOT HESITATE TO EMPLOY AN OPTION OF SELF- DEFENSE WHEN APPROPRIATE , WOMEN CAN GAIN CONTROL OVER THEIR OWN SAFETY.

Unlike other self -defense programs , R.A.D. teaches practical techniques and it is designed for the average women. R.A.D. is not a martial arts program and is open to women only.

    The Class offers:
  • Certified instructors
  • One time attendance entitles tour return anytime and anywhere the course is being offered.
  • Realistic simulations give participants the opportunity to practice techniques- Empowering her ability.

R.A.D.- for Kids

"To provide educational opportunities for children and parents, concerning awareness and self defense strategies, providing them with confidence and reducing the possibility of adverse physical control and/or harm."

RESIST AGGRESSION DEFENSIVELY

R.A.D kids is a basic awareness and self defense program for children ages 5-7 and 8-10.The program combines risk reduction education and physical defense training in hopes of preventing the abduction of children . It provides a consistent, structured proactive curriculum utilizing fun and interactive exercises creating a dynamic learning Environment.

General safety includes; but not limited to, school safety Home safety, out and about safety, vehicle safety, and physical defense.

R.A.D. Kids is the most comprehensive program of its kind.The program is designed to be taught to children by childhood education professionals, professional law enforcement agencies, sexual assault/counseling centers and child abuse prevention centers. One time attendance entitles participants to return the the course up to the age of 11 years old-free of charge. Anyone can enroll in the R.A.D Kids program.
