The Town of Eden provides an animal control officer that investigates all calls
referred to him by the police department. Officer Raymond Zabron, a retired dog handler from
the City of Buffalo, presently holds that position. His statutory duties include the
licensing enforcement and the seizure and impoundment of loose dogs. He also receives
and answers complaints of dangerous, loud, or annoying animals, and many other local
laws governing dog owners' responsibilities. The Town of Eden presently has over 1000 dogs
licensed.
