HONORABLE SUPERVISOR GLENN E. NELLIS
![]() WELCOME TO THE TOWN OF EDEN WEBSITE! Eden, a town established in 1812, is a vibrant, ever-changing town with a population of 8,076. The unique nature of the Town of Eden is reflected in its prosperous agricultural sector with flowers in the spring, vegetables in the summer and various squash, eggplant and cucumber/pickles in the fall. The Eden Valley Growers, Inc. is the oldest and one of the best agricultural cooperatives in the State of New York. Our Corn Festival, which attracts 75,000 - 125,000 yearly, just concluded its 41st Anniversary; but the Boys and Girls Club of Eden best reflects the on-going nature of change in Town as it celebrates its 1st Anniversary on September 25, 2004. Many people in town work in Buffalo, Amherst, and other nearby municipalities, yet all of us look forward to coming home to Eden one of the prime rural centers in Erie County. This year, the school district was especially proud of its theater program, which won 1st prize in all of Western New York for its production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". The school and town are both also proud of the range of sports and recreation opportunities that exist in our community. It's a great place to live and raise a family. Welcome to Eden! |
