Call To Order:

Nellis called the Work Session of the Eden Town Board to order at 7:30 P.M.
Pledge of Allegiance:
Supervisor
Nellis led the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag followed by a
moment of silence.
New and Unfinished Business:
- Proposed
Local Law No. 3-2005 – Schedule Public Hearing
Supervisor Nellis stated that this
item would be moved to “Old Business” to be
reviewed and discussed at a future
Town Board meeting.
- Restoration
of Vital Records Book – Recommendation from Town Clerk
Supervisor Nellis read a memo from
Mary Jo Hultquist, Town Clerk regarding the
restoration of the 1972 Minute
book. This item was approved in the 2005
Town Clerk’s budget in the amount of $1,057.00
MOTION was made by Councilman Krycia to approve the
restoration of the 1972 Minute Book in the amount of $1,057.00; seconded by
Councilman Vacco; All “Ayes”; Opposed? – None; Abstain? – None; Motion carried.
- Community
Calendar – (Informational)
Supervisor Nellis presented a
“Community Calendar” for upcoming events for the
Summer of 2005, which includes activities
in Eden from May 1 through Labor Day. A Southtowns Community Enhancement Coalition
of 4 (four) Towns, Eden, Evans, Brant and North Collins and the Villages of
Angola, Farnham and North Collins is being formed to coordinate events in those
areas that may be of interest. The
coalition has applied for a Quality Communities grant, which if granted, may
provide a “Visitors Center”
to be located within one of the communities.
The intention of the coalition is to move forward and comments are
appreciated.

Work Session Meeting of the Eden Town Board; seconded by Councilman Vacco; All
